Hello, my name is Merrill Liu and welcome to my portfolio site. I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a specialty in motion design. I graduated from OCAD University years ago and since then I have been in and out of various studios and in-house creative departments doing everything from internet gifs to animated billboard signs. My clients include McDonald’s, Cineplex, Sony, Goodlife, Shopper’s Drugmart, Wal-Mart, and tons of car dealerships.
I also go to a lot of anime and comic book conventions to hawk my art.
What I can do for you
Whether you’re starting a new business, trying to sell merch for your blog, looking for overlays to hype up your Twitch audience, or a portrait of you and your girlfriend as cats for her birthday I can make it happen.
Things I love working on
My specialty is motion graphics and animations for videos, but I’m also quite fond of documentation, poster design and of course, illustration.
